This morning on the blog I want to tell you a little about my mom, she inspired me to become the photographer I am today. She was always taking photos of me and my sister when we were growing up, I didn’t really appreciate it. Until I had kids of my own, like my mom I wanted to capture Savannah & Jake as they grew up. Knowing that there childhood would be fleeting, I wanted to look back and enjoy seeing all the memories. In high school she gave me her my first camera, a Canon AE-1 film camera, I was smitten with the idea of capturing a image on a piece of film and magically making it appear on a piece of paper in the darkroom. Now that I have a family of my own and a photography business that has exceeded my expectations, I just want to say Thank you Mom Happy Mother’s Day!!
