Why do I love nature? It may be that as child my parents made sure that my sister and me spent lots of time outside. If it wasn’t thundering or lightning we were outside. Plus we grew up out in the country on a couple acres, with these awesome trails behind our house that we use to explore as kids. I just feel there is so much beauty to be seen in this world. Do you ever take a stroll in the woods at six in the morning just when the sun is peeking through the trees? There is something just magnificent about it, seeing the sun touch every branch and leaf like painter paints a canvas with a brush. It’s an indescribable experience to see God’s amazing creation surround us all. I feel the need to capture it and share it with others in hope that you may, for just a moment, see what I see and experience an emotion that makes you stop and live in that moment. Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoy cuddling with a squishy baby and capturing a special time during a family portrait. But when I am out on my one of my strolls, I just capture what is right in front of me.
