When it comes to photographing a toddler I believe it is best to let them be and encourage them do there own thing. There is nothing more uncomfortable than a screaming 2 year old who doesn’t want to sit in some silly chair. At recent photo session I was discussing with a client’s mom about a recent experience she had at a popular portrait studio. She said many times how uncomfortable the environment was and how inexperience the photographer was. Placing a child in a environment there unfamiliar with at such a young age can be extremely challenging and hoping for good pictures in the end. My good photo session tip of the day is allow your child to be themselves and it will shine through in the images that a experience photographer like me will capture.
