I was approached by my neighbor yesterday about a friend of hers who’s daughter was born with some birth defects and she was was telling me about the bad experiences her friend was having with finding a photographer who would take the time to capture the beautiful side of her daughter. Having to cancel a session because she had to take her daughter to the hospital is a legitimate reason to have to reschedule a session. Why is that we as photographers have forgotten the number one reason why we are doing photography in the first place. It is a gift, a blessing from God that we have the ability to pick a camera and see this amazing world and capture it in a different and unique way. I personally hope to be able to spend some time with this sweet little girl and be able to present her mom with some photos that she will bring joy and happiness to her heart.
